I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this 'Original'. A real odd-ball, with a babe, Edie Adams, for a wife. Too bad he died fairly young and left her with a mountain of bills to pay for...

The undisputed king of stand up is en Dodd.
I've seen him 4 times now, and he's amazing.
One of the best things about Ken is his delivery. You know the joke, you know what's coming, but he slays you every time.
His shows have just got a real feel good factor to them.
Great singer too 8)

Bill Bailey s another personal favourite.
Have only seen him the once so far, but want to see him again.
Not only is he funny as hell, he can play virtually any instrument on god's green earth, and has a talent for languages.
Nobody should be allowed to have that much talent, I hate the bugger lol.

Dara O Briain is defiantly on my "too see" list.
Got all his DVDs, just got to get my ass to a live show.

Robin Williams has got great energy.

Jackie Mason is well worth mentioning too.

People i'd like to see more of are Stephen K. Amos, and Reggie D. Hunter.

There's a DVD out of a show that was done for Prince Charles' birthday called We Are Most Amused.
Features among others the afore mentioned Bill, Robin, and Stephen.
I recommend checking it out

Yeah Mickey was married 8 times I guess, that'll sure sap the old finances. Went bankrupt twice.

Then a few years ago he testified before Congress on Elder Abuse. His own family was trying to rip him off by intimidation and threats.

He was 93 years old, and still working making a movie when he died. Got to give the guy some credit.

Doesn't matter how much money you have, or how much stuff you've collected. We all leave this world the same way.

Someone mentioned there were no old school comedians or "Forerunners" of todays comics posted. I guess Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Jack Benny are newbies then.

Yet holy hell having read certain things, it seems eight million dollars was spent via the legends credit cards by a certain shitty couple of nobodies, over the last few years .

Don`t want to get into it all as that`d take us off topic.
