Ignoring (big) problems. If we face a problem, we- and esspecially some politicians- say;"Well, we deal with that later" and off course we'll use the same words later again (and again and again), untill the problem grows so big we have to take drastic measures. For example, our problems with bureaucracy, (illegal) immigration, high tax rates and our deficit of 18 billion euro.

Selling drugs. Everybody loves our coffeshops, exept a lot of dutch citizens (including me). Selling marihuana is legal, but delivering it is illegal. The result, my country has become THE narco state of Europe. Not to mention all the drug tourists who terrorize our border towns

Being kind to criminals. A sad example. Once our police arrested some members of a gang that forced women into prostitution. Some women were forced to have an abortion or a ''boobjob". guess what the leader of the gang got ! 7.5 years in prison, 7.5 years. It was a joke. That's why my country is so popular to criminals , they have nothing to fear. We are so tolerant.

As every Aussie never tires of telling us the British (and the English in particular) are only happy when we have something to whinge about.

Well, there are a lot of immigrants who are not registered in Holland but do some work in my country. I won't say where they came from, but i know a lot of European members know who i mean. The wages in West Europe are much higher than the wages in their countries. the new immigrants got paid in the wages of their home countries and taking jobs from more expensive dutch workers. I don't mind if foreign workers come to my country for work, but they have earn the same amount of money as we do. That''s fair. Besides there are also a lot of immigrants from ""over sea'' whose wages are even lower. They cause a lot of troubles. I''m not a racist or ultra right voter. But a lot of politicians, especially from left side, ignore that problem and the call everyone who even mention it a racist or fascist.You''ll notice i say this very carefully, i don''t want to hurt someones feelings. But the reason why Geert Wilders is so popular is that the left wing parties ignored that problem for years.
