Despacito

I hate this song. It's everywhere, and it feels like ants crawling on my brain whenever I hear those tunes. It's too much now, can we make it stop?

And it's in spanish, why would that be popular here where noone has a clue about what they are saying. Doesn't get any better at parties when all they know is the word "Despacito". Bunch of people rambling along, and then say despacito every now and then. I hate that song, and now I feel old.

How bout a shotgun blast to the face? That should do it

Yeah! It's weird about Queen.

When I was at school in the 70s, they were regarded as a bit of a novelty act - a hangover from glam-rock with some prog pretentions.

Then all of a sudden in the 80s they were re-invented as one of the greatest bands, rivalling the Beatles and a national treasure.

I think it was the one performance at Live Aid that brought about the change.

But to me, perhaps worthy of a "Best of" compilation but nothing in depth.

Like them or loathe them (I think that everybody should like them, but I also think that the radio works because it has little people living inside it), Queen have produced some of the most famous tunes of all time, perhaps only rivalled by the Beatles, Elvis, and Abba. Everybody can name a slew of Queen songs, in a way they can't with, say, the Rolling Stones, or the Who, or the Velvet Underground.

Bo Rhap
Killer Queen
We Will Rock You
We Are the Champions
Don't Stop Me Now
You're my Best Friend
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
I Want To Break Free
Another One Bites the Dust
Somebody To Love
etc
