I spotted this picture of Rachel Broome from Finnish Kalle magazine from October 1977 -
the article makes out she is a readers wife - but it is surely her in an unused photoshoot , the T-Shirt Top looks like the one used for the front cover of Whitehouse

I discovered a new appearance for Rachel Broome from the Spanish Magazine from 1978 called Pechos Grande ( means Bigger Breasts )
I also have discovered that the Golden Fleece Episode from the Sweeney
that Mayfair claimed Rachel Broome was featured in the poolside scene
was not so ( all the actresses are dark haired ) - and the only blonde who appears
in the Sweeney Episode ( see Youtube ) is actually Allyson Rees as the au pair in the garden. She was Sexy Miss Lexington in Grange Hill although she was the girlfriend of Mr Baxter the PE teacher in that series later . In other words Rachel Broome is not in the Sweeney

This is my own personal copy - which I bought a long time ago
and the white mark on the top left hand corner is a white
sticky label saying " Girl from Sweeney " - my method on indexing
my Mayfair magazines at the time , this is now the only Mayfair I have left after I sold off my collection - as she was the only Model I wanted to keep -

This is my latest discovery -
whilst looking at New English Library covers
on War Subjects online whilst surfing ,
then found this book which is called
" The Hard Game " by Trevor Hoyle , published in 1973



This is Rachel Broome as her face and raised
ridge on her nose ( the second best way to recognise her )
is the same , plus her freckles are clearly
visible at the rear of her shoulders
( the 3rd best way to spot her )

was the German Sister or copy magazine to
Late Night Extra ( which had been launched in 1973 but
didn't fare much better than Girl Illustrated
and by 1981 it's time was up.)
