Admittedly, all the pols follow the money, but it is the Republicans who cater to openly racist and misogynistic constituencies. Now the "alt-right" gets to feel as betrayed as all the lefty socialists did after Obama's election.

Trump's talk was bad, but when you realize that Bill Clinton started the record buildup of INS/ICE and Obama holds the record for deportations you can see how Latino voters were basically "picking a switch" and was not running out to support Hillary

You know a lot of scifi stories are based on the corporations taking over government responsibilities and running the countries as a business i.e. profit first and foremost.
And fuck the people.
It seems the US has taken the first step down this road.
Well done Trump.

Well done Trump.
The world is already run by corporations, and it happened long before Trump.

I don't know if anyone has posted this link before, but since it gets updated regularly as new information comes to light I thought I'd show it here:

Here’s what we know so far about Team Trump’s ties to Russian interests

It now is quite a long article, with timelines for all of the players and an interactive visual that shows all of the connections to those on both sides (so far).

Default Trump 'shared classified information with Russia'

President Donald Trump revealed highly classified information about so-called Islamic State to the Russian foreign minister, officials have told US media.

The information came from a partner of the US which had not given the US permission to share it with Russia, says the Washington Post.

It happened when Mr Trump met Sergei Lavrov in the Oval Office last week, says the paper.

But a senior security official has said the report is not true.

"This story is false," said Dina Powell, deputy national security adviser for strategy, who was in the meeting. "The president only discussed the common threats that both countries faced,"

I am a subscriber, but the Washington Post frequently goes over the top in its coverage of the Trump administration. IMO, this particular instance is fake news. National Security Director Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster was also present at the meeting and reported that nothing untoward happened. It would better serve the public if the Washington Post remembered the story of the boy who cried "Wolf!" and concentrated on diligently researching, documenting, and reporting the many serious irregularities with this crew.

We do know that Trump is lying about his business connections with Russia because his sons were bragging back in 2008 about how Russian money had solved their financing problems with U.S. lenders.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FIauuTAgD8

The headline is rather insulting. Eric Trump graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. No one knew in 2008 that his father would be running for President.

Here's a report with links to more detailed information.

The more that Newspapers and Online sources report stories of dubious provenance,The more Mr Trump can label all stories critical of Him "Fake News".

The Washington Post is incredibly bias, I lost faith in them last year during the election.

I don't know if this particular instance is fake news or not because it DOES sound like something Trump would do, because he is an idiot.

Here is a quote for Politico which seems exactly like something Trump would do:

Quote:
One adviser who often speaks to the president said the conversation was likely freewheeling in the Oval Office, and he probably wanted to impress the officials.

"He doesn't really know any boundaries. He doesn't think in those terms," this adviser said. "He doesn't sometimes realize the implications of what he's saying. I don't think it was his intention in any way to share any classified information. He wouldn't want to do that."

However, I do think that Russia story overall is an attack, I don't think there is much to it but it is working where other things didn't.
