I think we are going to need a thread for the time beyond the first 100 days as the show appears to be well on its way to being a long running farce.

Members have been sharing interesting articles and giving their opinions on Trump's White House on this thread, and taken some of the load off of the other two bigger American political threads on here, Quest For The Presidency (which focuses more on election year candidates and events) and Current/Modern American politics (which I feel is more perfect for debating or discussing general politics/ideologies and broader, current political events). Since Election Day, the apparel brand run by Trump's daughter has imported 56 shipments of Ivanka Trump products from China and Singapore, part of a total of 215 shipments from Asia since Jan. 1, 2016.

The US envoy to the UN has warned America may take further action after bombarding a Syrian air base suspected of using chemical weapons.

Nikki Haley said her country would not stand by when chemical weapons were used, as it was in its "vital interest" to stop their proliferation.

Syrian ally Russia accused the US of encouraging "terrorists" with its unilateral actions.

Moscow has promised to strengthen its ally Syria's anti-aircraft defences.

It is also closing down a hotline with the US designed to avoid collisions between their air forces over Syria.

(CNN) At least 13 people were arrested as pro-Trump and anti-Trump protestors clashed Saturday at a park in Berkeley, California, police said.
"A large number of fights have occurred and numerous fireworks have been thrown in the crowds," Berkeley police said in a statement. "There have also been numerous reports of pepper spray being used in the crowd."
Hundreds of people took part in the protests in Civic Center Park.

Police said they confiscated prohibited items including hand-held flagpoles, a knife, a stun gun, helmets and signs, and flags attached to poles, CNN affiliate KRON reported. Video showed injured people but no details on the number of injuries was available.
Protests were held in dozens of cities across the United States on Saturday for the anti-Trump "Tax Day," but the Berkeley rally was about free speech, according to local news reports.

A comedian impersonating President Trump during Saturday's Tax March in Washington, D.C., mockingly "released" Trump's tax returns, hurling streams of shredded paperwork into the crowd.

The impersonator, Anthony Atamanuik, is the host of Comedy Central's new series "The President Show," a late-night program during which he does his Trump impression and discusses current events.

Trump refused to make his tax information public during his White House bid, breaking with decades of tradition. He said it was due to an audit, but the IRS said that did not legally prevent him from releasing the documents. The White House has said Trump has no plans to release them.

Having just watched him on BBC News, this Trump impersonator seems rather good...
