The 40th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix' passing,

RIP Greg Giraldo
Comedian Greg Giraldo, who appeared on most Comedy Central Roasts and generally joked about how famous he wasn't, died yesterday after an apparently accidental overdose.
Five days ago Giraldo had been found unconscious in his hotel room in New Brunswick, New Jersey, shortly after finishing an appearance in a local comedy club.

I'm one more who wants say goodbye to Mr. Tony Curtis (or maybe only say "see you later"). I like much his work.
Also want say goodbye to Eduardo Manchón, one of the mytical forwards of the 50's Barça of the "5 copas", with Kubala. He's dead yesterday 29-09-2010. http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduardo_Manchón Here's to you ... Salut !

Though I didn't find anything wrong with Curtis in it. If you want a comedy with the same two male leads, I'd go with The Great Race, an underrated film, imho. Curtis is the straight man in it and doesn't have too many laughs but Lemmon and others are quite funny in it. And you get to see Natalie Wood covered head to toe in whipped cream.  |
