Pale Moon "Human Verification" check pop-up
Is anybody else being bothered by a pop-up that purports to come from Mozilla Firefox?
It says something about checking that you are a human, not a robot and then apologizes for taking up your time - not that it does, I just click and close it. |

do you mean it's happening when you launch the browser, randomly during surfing or when you try to download from certain sites or log in to some sites?

Nope

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...m5JEBXlmHmAmmA I'm referring to a brief pop-up that appears ( more often than not after clicking on a thumbnail to view an image on an imagehost such as imagebam ) and then closes down without any input from the keyboard. I'm suspicious that it might be installing something from the malware/adware catalogue in the background while the user's attention is diverted. |
