Yep - I get no thumbnails on peoples posts in Someimage - the images are there, but neither in VEF of their own page do the thumbnails show. But clicking on the first dead icon gets the full image, and then just step by step through them worked. (Lorna Morgan as Magistrate in this case)

All you can do is have multiple browsers available because evidence says none perform the same
http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...eb-browser.htm maybe try a proxy to rule out regional issues http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html One member recently went from firefox to palemoon - same rendering engine - fixed their issue the more extensions you add the closer you get to conflict I can see someimage on firefox 49.02 - using ad-block plus / no script Only issue is download mannager IHG 1.6.5.5.doesnt work on that host 1st pic on some image , 2 screenshots on imagebam Last edited by buttsie; November 12th, 2016 at 09:16 PM.. This may be just a problem I'm experiencing for the last week or so but is anyone else ?
On Multi-Upload page @ ImageBam, a short delay of about 5 seconds while a strange symbol is displayed.. the page appears to have loaded but the 'Select Files' button has no function, then the symbol goes & all is OK I've just sent a message to Flo & I'm guessing it's a FlashPlayer problem with Win7/Chrome. EDIT/ Tried ImageBam using I.E. & there's not an issue Last edited by Gladys Allova; November 16th, 2016 at 10:18 AM.. Reason: poorly worded explanation, corrected syntax & additional info |

Depending by what you mean by not working ie download managers wont work via a proxy in my limited experience of using imagehostgrabber 1.6.5.5 on firefox 49.02 Tor Browser Bundle [Cross-Platform] (can be slow going by what others have written) Not only does Tor bring anonymous internet surfing to your browser, it can also hide your country of origin for any application, prevent websites from tracking users (and their physical location) and help users bypass websites blocked by their Internet service providers (ISPs) or government. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/2-anony...rivate-secure/ Beyond that setting up your own VPN - virtual private network - the permanent solution A few about have written online tutorials for different systems |

Someimage recently had a similar problem,so I think we´ll just have to wait and see if they can solve it,or,god forbid, they´re out of business.
If that´s the case, then a lot of stuff will be unaccessible in many sections. I´ve checked some of my posts, and the images are still up,but clicking on them only leads to an error 404 ghostpage,as it did a couple of weeks ago. We can just hope for the best, otherwise this will be really bad for the Celebssections, and sadly, for the Modern Models and GMT secitons. Not a good way to start the new week. I have now checked upon other members that frequently use someimage, and it looks like some of us have been dmcatargeted, and some not,so for now,all my stuff at someimage seems to be down, but we´ll still have to wait and see what will happen. I need a drink, even though it´s breakfast time. Last edited by the flu; November 28th, 2016 at 04:13 AM.. Reason: Upgrade of info. |

As has been mentioned, it would seem that someimage is experiencing problems. It is not currently known if the issues will affect everyone who has used their service or just a select few. For instance, Boatguy's posts are still live whereas mine are now dead. Until we know more, we will leave the posts in place. If we do have to start a mass removal of posts, rest assured that we understand that this is a problem with the image host and not the responsibility of those who used their service.
If you have been using someimage, I would strongly recommend that you switch to imagebam, imagevenue or imgbox until we have a better understanding of what's happening. Thanks everyone. Just another day in paradise, ya? aphex

Aphex, can you notify those of us who may now have empty posts as to what was there by PM so perhaps we could reload at least some of them through imagebam and such? Maybe we can reload some posts without actually deleting them.

Wait and see would be my advice
The message sounds like they might have reached a point where they'll be entering the unprofitable zone very shortly if they dont take action. Blaming hacks & a deluge of dmca notices are a nice ploy but excessive bandwidth usage and lack of revenue to pay for it are usually at the heart of the issue. Either way I would be looking to other hosts but i'd be mindful of putting all my content into just 1 host We've seen filehosts water down their free unlimited account model to remain viable One wonders where imagehosts are heading given their strange behaviour Imagebam getting into bed with video Some hosts used to have a visible premium option Only seems to be found if you search via google - very strange |
