It's absolutely true

Australia really was a gulag for English convicts, and that's all Australia was until they discovered gold. After that, many English people wanted to become convicts

What's less known, is that America was also used by the British as a gulag. Until it became independent, that is. Check it out

Of course, they also made fortunes selling slaves there, so the gulags shouldn't be a surprise

Remember we're talking about humans, who think they are so superior to other forms of life, when we are the worst. We are the only form of life that destroys its environment when they move into a new area. It is human life that has led to more animal and plant extinctions than anything else in nature. When humans push into a new area we dominate and destroy everything else that we cannot control. I feel sorry for future generations who will live in a machine dominated world where all our human emotions will have been destroyed by lack of use.(I'm talking about way in the future). Technology will see great advancement, but humans will de-evolve into mindless brutes.

Kevin here. There has to be something else of interest that happened in Geelong today. After all Geelong has a population of over 177,000 people, and it's quite a good city for tourists.

My neighborhood in Chicago has a population of about 45,000, and it has at least a dozen things that happen here every day, but these things are all crime related: purse snatchings, armed robberies, car theft, vandalism, drug dealing, domestic disputes which require police intervention, etc.
