Au Contraire, a knock on the door at midnight in Philidelphia - to me - would mean "get your shotgun" - I guess they had no alarm system on or a dog that warned of strangers at the door.

I am waiting to see if the 16-year-old was a gangbanger or somehow otherwise affiliated with crime. No streetwise kid is going to be opening that door. Where were his parents?

655 people shot in Chicago so far in 2024, how many were shot by police? I guessed 5% or something around 33 - but it was only 3 - so around a half a percent.

I hope they don't give that guy's family anything, but I am sure he will get at least nuisance level value to make the lawsuit go away.

Retired Pa. teacher, Boy Scout troop leader arrested for unlawful sexual contact with a student

A Delaware County man has been arrested and charged for sexually abusing a child while he worked as a Boy Scout troop leader and as a teacher at a boarding school, officials said.

Keith Steininger, 68, worked as a teacher at Girard College for 41 years before retiring in July of 2022. While at Girard College, he served as a troop leader for the school's Boy Scout troop.
