Attendance Increases ~ EFL

Quote:
EFL Clubs have seen an impressive 11% increase in matchday attendances from last season with the largest crowds in almost 60 years attending games across the EFL.
A key factor in the increase were the record breaking attendances during the 2016 festive period with the EFL boasting a combined attendance of more than 500,000 for matches during this time.

Hmmm...how are Italy and Spain doing in their lower Leagues ?

The last figures I saw was that Germany and Italy turn style movement had decreased, while Spain's were on the up.

Have Adrian and Butland given Joe Hart a summer life line?

Adrian was good...imo

But that was the best I've seen Liverpool play this season...on TV

It's maintaining that which is the problem for 'class' managers.Antonio's goal?
Deserved imo....a free run because most of Liverpool's defenders were out of position or on the wrong half when he broke through.
Still, Liverpool have a great problem with both first team Goalies, both seem either casual or inept at crucial times. But Klop doesn't seem to see it.

Anyway...to me, that was a stunning performance from Liverpool, shame that it was against the Hammers tho.... 'Moyes-Must-Go' failing yet again to beat Liverpool.
Quote:
Fifteen years on from his first visit to the venue as a manager, Moyes has yet to win at Anfield. This was his 15th game at Liverpool's home - and his eighth defeat.

Default TRIVIA

Whilst I'm still awake....

Been doing enforced 'Spring-Cleaning'...which means I move me books and Mags (Footie ) from one room to another room and hide them under a throw.... make it look decent as the Queen may turn up one Thursday afternoon ...after Bingo.

AS you do, you sit and read some mags before hiding...clearing them out,I mean.

Four-Four-Two..... thick comp Mag from Season 2011-2012.
A Pre-Season preview, from fans and with Stats etc.

Point of this Trivia, is that of the 20 Prem teams starting that Season ~ ~

TEN have been relegated. Only TEN Prem teams from that Season are still top-flight.

GONE:-
Aston Spewvill
Blackburn
Bolton
Fulham
Norwich
QPR
Sunderland
Swansea
Wigan
Wolverhampton Dogheads

In five years.... thats a lot of turnover. You could add the Toon into that, but they regained top-flight status.

The Prem is pretty volatile isn't it, when you have hindsight ?

I hope not, but I suspect they have. Add to that, Pickford's form has been less than stellar, Heaton's only just returning to match fitness...for a country with a handful of decent keepers, the only one who consistently plays well is Nick Pope, who has yet to trouble the starters on the International stage.

Depressing, isn't it?
