'Possession by Porn-Star?'

Greetings Everyone, from a cold and frosty England.

I suspect that more than a few readers of VEF view sex an awful lot more than they actually perform the act itself (no, I'm not casting aspersions, I count myself in that category).
Well anyway, a major psychological 'hook' about viewing hardcore porn is that the voyeur actually gets to identify with the stud doing the business to the extent that the stud is effectively his surrogate and his thrills and spills are felt vicariously. This leads to a curious effect when the voyeur actually has the chance to get his way with a lady and have a little 'bedroom action' of his own.
The trouble is that the identification with a porn performer has gone too far, to the extent that one *actually thinks of oneself* as a performer in a porn film, doing the various nasty deeds, rather than a man and a lover.
- Has anyone else felt this, or is it just me?

I have some aspects of this and I did wonder if I was the only one.

It isnt a constant but it does slip into my mind on occassions. I also get flashes of softcore and some hardcore models that over the years have reminded me of Mrs db......Monica Sweet looks like a very young Mrs db in body shape and there are others that come to mind now.

It could be linked to that old joke about the Yorkshire lad that was tuppin his missus and she says 'you're takin a long time to come tonight dear' and he replies 'aye lass, I can't think of anybody'

I understand perfectly the concept here. The danger is becoming the star in your own imaginary porn scene, more concerned with the performance than the enjoyment and wondering what it would like like from different camera angles/ lighting etc. up to and including a post match review inside your head.
The one time when there is no place for overthinking is during humpyfucks and playing a woman like a violinist with a Stradivarius might seem like the epitome of lovemaking but she might just want to have her brains fucked out and back in again.
