The idea that a community will provide $475,000 to provide a shelter for one homeless person and expect them to take care of it is rather amusing to me. Will the politicians appear shocked when the buildings are torn apart, metals sold for scrap and remains set on fire?

I don't know what they expect. You have crazy poor assholes living nearby expect some of your shit to get carted off sooner or later. That is just a fact of life.

It's always amusing when those who live in la-la land are confronted with the dirty, smelly reality of the poor and downtrodden.

We could try dropping the homeless addicts with multiple vandalism convictions in the middle of the Mojave or Nevada deserts without any water. I wouldn't even object to staking them out naked. They have chosen a slow death, but we can speed up the process.
