Censorship is like limitations on 'freedom of speech' - it will always exist, almost everywhere, but in some places less than others

Censorship is the 'drawing of the line' in the continuum of the grey-area. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' that applies globally, even if the majority of people think there may be. To some, a chaste kiss between a beautiful woman and a man is a disappointment, whilst to others it is an outrage. To some, the sexual act between a man and a girl (yes) is an abomination, whilst to others it is a natural extension of human relationships.

All we can hope for is that wherever that line is drawn, it sits within our own moral compass.

[Obviously, some of the views expressed here represent my own, and they aren't the really disturbing ones. Honest!]

Very tricky topic.

A little censorship is good, especially considering teenagers are listening and viewing pretty much anything these days.

I've always thought that after a particular time (say, for example, 10 pm) radio and TV stations should be able to allow a certain degree of profanity and violent content.

If parents did their part, then any objectionable material should be blocked from the home.

Just my 2 cents.
