Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 145

For me, Imagebam's load times have been excruciating for about a week. I want to throw myself off a tall building when I open a page that I know is going to be freighted with goods.

And, methinks you're right cuzzy......it does appear to be getting worse. I only use Imgbox during dire emergencies (i.e. DMCA whining from the other sites

), and (this is just me being anal) I despise having to scroll to the bottom of the page to go left, or right on an image.

I used to use Imagebam exclusively, but the wait times, and the dropped pics after uploading a 900MB set caused me to look elsewhere.

Today it's been particularly bad with ImageBam. Their images are simply not showing up and if they do it's extremely slowly. Damn annoying when as a Mod you need to see what members are posting in order to do your 'job' properly.

This is some predicament in which we now find ourselves presently in having to chose the lesser of the image host "evils"!

Do we go with ImageBam in which the images are presently loading like being on a slow boat to China: do we go with imgbox in which some images are not uploading due to bogus so-called image errors; or do we go with Pimp & Host who also has its share of belly aches??!!

It depends on the time of day: right now I'm experiencing the same problem, but late night yesterday I wasn't.

Is there a list with banned and allowed pichoster? Maybe we should search some alternatives for small sets to disburden Imagebam and others.

A list would be more helpful than an auto censor bot. But it´s just my opinion.
