I have never put up lights and decorations outside my home like many folks do.

I am not going to do it myself and risk falling off a tall ladder and then if I was able to get all those lights up there safely, after the season is over, I have to take it down.

There are companies that go around and install lights and decorations on your home for you: no job too big.

I have never looked into how much they charge and I never will.

For us it's just a tree with ornaments and lights on it.

But in the last 4 years, after we've gotten 2 kittens for our children, we don't even put up a tree anymore.

When we were kids, I think my father tried to put up lights on the house once about 40 years ago and after breaking a few string of lights before they were even up and almost falling off the ladder even with one of us holding it, he gave up.

It's not worth it.

Plus the electric bill.

I see homes that have 1000 and 1000 or even 10 of 1000 of lights on it and as many decorations on the front yard that move and spin and lights up.

I can't imagine what their electric bill is after having those lights up for at least 30 days.

Plus all those lights can cause an overload on their home circuit breaker especially if the home is older or if their electrical system and breakers haven't been looked at by an electrician in years.

An apartment that was build in the late 70's that I lived in in mid 90's, I plugged in a space heater and boom, it kicked the circuit breaker in the kitchen.

I turned it back on and nothing.

The whole unit was dead.

Every light, every power outlet, refrigerator was off, AC and Heating unit won't come on.

The apartment was only barely 20 years old.

You have houses here that are built in the 50s, 60s, 70s that are older.

I doubt any of them if they still have the original electric grid design on them and original circuit breaker system that they could handle all those Christmas lights.

Plus it's not just the Christmas lights: you also have to take into consideration all the other electrical appliances that are already plugged in: TV, Home theater sytems, stereos, computers, refrigerator, washer and dryer, stove (some people still use electric stoves), AC and Heating units, etc etc

An electric fire waiting to happen.

The Hospital?

Have you seen the ugly nurses they have nowadays?

I will willingly go to the hospital only if they have pretty hot nurses.

I spent 10dys in hospital recently and the student nurses were absolutely gorgeous. Two fit blondes and a buxom brunette had to attend to me every morning. Then there was the ward sister who I could tell was a naughty lady. Tall slim half Indian but she would be very fruity with her suggestions. Very soft touch and when I left she gave me a rip-roarer of a kiss, not a peck, proper tongue in mouth job. Plus a cheeky wink after. I wanted to stay damn.

You didn't get anything from them?

JR didn't wake up when they gave you a sponge bath and you beg them to take care of you to please let the swelling go down?

No such luck. I had major surgery and couldn't move for three days with tubes sticking out of me, but my faculties were working well. The 18 year old blondes used to do morning shifts 4 days a week and as I couldn't really move they helped change dressings, clean me, take SATs readings, give me medications, do blood tests etc etc but also pamper to my needs including changing my gown which meant my nether regions were on show. I also had a catheter in my cock for three days. For anyone who hasn't had that done it causes your cock to swell to about four times in thickness( not length unfortunately) so my chipolata became a Bratwurst. Not pleasant experience having it removed though as two foot of tubing has to come out with two pulls. I digress. The 20 year old brunette was a lovely girl and treated me like a little puppy. She stroked my face and held my hand when I was in pain. Just would have liked to have been in a better condition to take advantage of her ample bosom as she leant over me to make me more comfortable.

We make no fuss at all about Christmas at home and usually go away over the period. Sadly not this year for reasons of ill health at our usual destination although we will be at a friends not far away for Christmas Eve and the big day itself. We have to provide the bubbly and some other treats for the total of ten who will be there.

One of my neighbours, a proper electronics geek has developed a mesh of lights to cover the large front hedge between his double front drives and is making an even bigger and brighter one this year. This will have animations and messages he tells me. I will report back on the result.

I had UTI 2 1/2 years ago and it lasted 52 days.

It was not a fun at all.

Had to go to the urologist three times and have them insert tubes down my dick (urethra) and also up my backside on 4 different occasion just to look inside me.

I saw a total of 3 other physicians besides the urologist and must had been back and forth to the pharmacy over a dozen times for 4 different kind of medication you take orally plus a cream ointment.

Then they gave me Cipro which made the entire 1/4 part of my dick head from the pee hole and back to dry up and become a piece of dead skin just sitting there, still attached, don't touch it and don't try to remove it, and it was also partially blocking the hole so it hurt when I peed:

the oral medications that I took once every 2 hours made me pee every 10 minutes and then drink a ton of water.

Then there was a 2 days period where I was still peeing every 10 minutes but I was pissing blood:

if you can feel the stream coming up the length of your dick but it won't come out naturally because there is blood in it and the blood solidifies so it has to push out through the pee hole that's blocked and while it's doing so, it felt like your dick was going to implode because the blood in the urine was making it swell up.

The doctors said UTI in men is caused by holding it: so many of us get the feeling that we need to go pee and we don't do it right away and we hold it.

Now as soon as I get the feeling I go. Even if I don't have the feeling to go, sometimes I just go and stand over the toilet or urinal and relax and some urine will still come out.

Anyway, back to the Christmas subject and already seeing Christmas commercials on TV:

I have seen ads from Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy and Target. All pushing online sales and 1-2 days free deliveries. I think they were trying to get a head start on Amazon on Holidays online sales.
