Baden-Powell set up the first ever Cub Scout camp at Brownsea Island, Poole, Dorset on the Southern coast of England (which I went to when I was a Cub myself) Incidentally the names of the leaders of Cubs/Scouts were taken from Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book - Akela(female leader) Baloo(male leader) One of my uncles was a Baloo but he didn't have hair and definitely didn't go around singing and saying "yeah, man!"

On the subject of Kellogg, was it not his brother John that stole the idea for the flakes and created the fabled Kellogg's Corn flakes?

The 1956 movie The Conqueror was filmed in St George Utah,Which was downwind of US nuclear tests in Nevada.Of the cast and crew,91 contracted cancer of some kind,Most notably star John Wayne.He however always put His lung cancer down to His six pack a day cigarette habit.Wayne is also credited with coining the euphemism "Big C".

Marnie Nixon was the real-life voice double of many American Hollywood stars, like Audrey Hepburn(but she did know how to sing) and Deborah Carr(The King & I) who didn't sing that well, and this was parodied in the film 'Singing In the Rain' when unknown singer Kathy Seldon(Debbie Reynolds) backed a star of silent films, now in talkies, Lena Lamont(Jean Hagen) who is a terrible singer and had a really shrill New Yawk accent. In the end, Gene Kelly points out she is the real star of the film he made.
