I was wondering, how do you download galleries from imgbox these days (especialy in Firefox)?
Imagehost and DownThemAll Firefox plugins are no longer updated and stopped working with this site, some of the others plugins are not usable in new versions of Firefox...

I narrowed it down to:
1) try running https://github.com/4pr0n/ripme - seems to be quite living project, hopefully working
2) simply extracting links from page source using jQuery, slightly altering the url to get
to the image and feed those to some application
3) paying for BulkImageDownloader, but considering how often I'd use it (got too much of "content" already anyway), some 25$ a year seems steep
4) writing my own plugin update for DownThemAll
(regexes seem simple enought, but still possibly time consuming, as I got stuck at very begging, when I thought I'm asked for path to json file, but I'm told "file not executable" XD )

So, any simpler solutions around?

Jdownloader2 can download from imgbox.

If you locate an older version of FF (43.0) and kep it in spare folder, you can launch this with IHG and hoover as normal.

I use Pale Moon for browsing sites that I know, I want to download from (as VEF). For that I have ImageHostGrabber installed, which still works with that browser.

In the end I decided to give RipMe project a try and stayed with it.
As long as you have Java installed, the plugin for given image host exists and images are in gallery, everything works marvelously.

Seemed simpler than deciding whether I trust JDownloader2 or setting up other Firefoxes and wondering if the ImageHostGrabber from it's current source can be trusted as well. But thanks for all the advices - might still come handy in the future.

No login is needed.
Each page has around 100 images, pages as followed:
http://somesite.com/page/1/
http://somesite.com/page/150000/

Does anyone know any good program for this?
BID seems to be the best, but i will only use it once (for this project).
So if there's any free software that can do the above job?

I think that in the past I have done this with the 'build gallery' option of the Downthemall Firefox plugin.

I use very old version of Offline Explorer for things like that. I see the current version is quite expensive :\

Also there was similar, free, program, but I didn't ever actually tried it:

Maybe if you google for related stuff, you'll find something better.

So the technique is going to depend on just what imagehost is being used. If its a host that's compatible with JDownloader, I'll write a little Basic program

For NumPages=1 to 15000
Print "hxxp://somesite.com/page/";NumPages
next NumPages

This will give you output like this

hxxpp://somesite.com/page/1
hxxp://somesite.com/page/2
hxxp://somesite.com/page/3
hxxp://somesite.com/page/4
and so on

I then copy this list of pages, paste it into Jdownloader's linkgrabber, and do a "deep search" with filetype images

This technique is dependent on Jdownloader having a plugin that works for the particular imagehost

Very good, didnt think of JDownloader

I tried five pages and it grabbed the images i wanted.

But i am not sure how to use the command you wrote.
I put that in a BATCH file?
And save it like pages.bat?

Where does it save that output?
