There are aliens in Australia. One of them is named Chris Judd.

Personally I think all native born Australians and New Zealanders evolved from some space alien whose ship crashed to Earth millions of years ago. He and his crew were able to battle and repulse the dinosaurs. When the asteroid hit 63,000,000 years ago the crew went into a hibernation until the air was clear again. The crew realizing they were stuck on Earth decided to raise families and their population grew and evolved into the present population, and all the nasty animals of Australia including quokkas are descended from animals the aliens had on board their ship in a kind of zoo. That's why they are so different and unique compared to other animals on Earth.

On the topic of "native-born" Australians, this story reminded me of David Oldfield's views expressed on First Contact (s.2), #2.

Maybe David Oldfield is really a space alien in disquise. Under what looks like human skin is really lizard skin. He has been on Earth for hundreds of years acting like a regular human, sizing us up for the coming alien invasion. It's like that Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man". Human scientists first thought that this book that the eight foot tall aliens gave them which they translated as "To Serve Man" was a book about helping us, but in the last minute they realized that the book was a cookbook. The aliens were bringing us to their planet to eat us!

Aren't you bordering/borrowing from David Icke's notion of the illuminati?
Someone may sue for plagiarism.

I am not a conspiracy nut. But you never know. There could be space aliens watching us now from some hidden enclave.Maybe they are just interested in us, or they may have been studying us for centuries, the same way we do with animals in deep Amazonian jungles. Remember that comment from the "Blade" movies with Wesley Snipes. He was referring to the presence of vampires. He would often say "They're everywhere"

You know nothing about bureaucrats. Come to Russia, then you'll learn AUS is not so bad

In AUS, you don't even have to bribe anyone. When I went to AUS, I had too many duty-free cigarettes, but couldn't find anywhere to declare them. So I asked an officer, and she said "I didn't hear that question. We're not looking for cigarettes today"

I had seen too many "Australia Customs Service" shows on TV, and thought they would arrest and deport me. From those shows, you'd think they ban you from AUS for life if you import a single foreign peanut

But actually, they didn't care

Yeah! When I got to Sydney last, I filled out a card in which I said that (a) yes, I did have drugs in my luggage - prescription of course but that wasn't asked and that (b) I may have soil on the walking boots I'd brought.

I was told to go through "channel 18" - expecting to at least have to open my bag and have a brief explanatory conversation.

But no - channel 18 just went straight through the out door and into the arrivals lounge.
