French winners my ass!
How can you claim to be a champion cyclist if you can't ride fast on your own? It is the type of cycling that every cyclist does 95% of the time.
When they had Fignon & Hinault riding they put in 100 km + of TT. Going on today's performance Bardet would be about 10 minutes down in such a race - not even a podium contender.

So what next year? Just downhill finishes and no TTs? Dangerous downill TTs?
Give up France and let a proper cyclist like Dumoulin have a crack.
Talking a lot of French mon ami, an honour for me

When French or any nationality riders came to the UK I clap and cheer, I didn't boo anyone. I didn't even boo convicted dopers (including French).

Ok, but you've got the crowd, organisation and the jury on your side so I think you can take a bit of criticism or at least a reality check.

Thank the race jury for your 3rd Place, should be Landa's with the 20 sec penalty.

The TDF has been and should be a race for the world's best not the best French.

We have 2 likely all-time great stage racers at the moment Froome of one era, and Dumoulin of the next. All the time the organisers keep trying to 'fiddle' a French win by their route design they will never race each-other at their best. Dumoulin will just race in the more TT friendly Tours.
That would be a great shame for the sport.

Froome deserved his forth title but for me it's rather marred with him not winning any stage wins at all this year. Not that he didn't try to give it a go.

Lack of summit finishes and ITT kms didn't help.

Bearing in mind it's history of death and scandal, that doesn't count as a marred TDF IMO.

This Tour was great. I'm disappointed about Bardet lost the second place even though he was so amazing during these three weeks.

Barguill deserves his price for the most combative.

Froome will win his 4th Tour without winning a stage. It was very close for him but he deserves his victory. Team Sky was so strong.

For the booing, only 1% of the people did this. Most of French people like Froome.

Me and many others disgree and think that thomas De Ghent should get that price.

But yeah, with a French jury this outcome is no surprise

Sadly the whole French Nation stands convicted of the poor behaviour shown to Frome, it is the same as the football hooligans of old, very few fans went to football for violence, the few that did, made genuine supporters the most hated and feared in every country British teams plated in. I have a lot of time for the French, I work with them and even speak the language, the World is different when people feel free to talk rubbish with you!

This has not been a great Tour, but it has certainly had magical moments, and yes Frome deserves to win his crown, I live in hope that the powers that be in this country will recognise him and give him his Knighthood. Wiggins won once, OK the first time, but Frome could easily have won that Tour too.

I will reserve comment on the third place, just to say if the rules had been applied through out the race fairly and correctly, then Sky would have had a double podium again!

It was a Twitter vote, not a jury decision.
