The author is being a bit overly dramatic, imho. Saying things like "i can never trust you again". He should know you can't trust any corporation.

That said, despite its flaws i still love Firefox, and as with any fox, you have to keep a sharp eye on its behavior.

I use it also, because since I have a very old system Windows Vista I got a message many months ago from my previous browser-Google Chrome that they would no longer support Vista with security updates. So far my computer expert(the man who set up my computer) has not sent me any e-mails saying anything bad about Firefox, so I will continue to use it.

This Firefox stuff is a little bit worrying and I have had one of two strange anomalies with the current Quantum version, so I may move across to Pale Moon, which is a good substitute.

The Pentagon has been running a secret multi-million dollar programme to investigate Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), US media report.

Only a small number of officials were aware of the programme, which began in 2007 and was reportedly closed in 2012.

The New York Times says documents from the operation describe strange speeding aircraft and hovering objects.

But scientists were doubtful, stressing that unexplained happenings were not necessarily proof of alien life.

There is no porn on my work laptop: for example I never visit VEF while using the work computer. The work laptop is for work: QED. If Damien Green was browsing porn on the work computer that means he did so in the House when he was supposed to be working and was being paid to be there (and claiming expenses). Porn is strictly a leisure time activity only.

I still believe though that the policeman who grassed on him should go to prison for misconduct in a public office. Policemen have rights to force the public to divulge extremely private and personal information when they are investigating; not to make full disclosure of relevant facts is a very serious matter. But if the police then sell salacious information to the media for gain which was private and was disclosed only to assist their inquiries, then this is misconduct in public office (aka corruption) and they too are obliged to obey the law of the land and they too should pay if they break the law. Besides, it was scum-sucking low-life contemptible behaviour and deserves punishment.

The whole affair is down to a feud between Green and the aforementioned "low-life contemptible " alleged Police officer,Otherwise They'd have handed the laptop back with a wink and told Him to hide His whacking material better..

The story is curious. The program was small, and apparently existed at the behest of one very powerful Senator, Harry Reid of Nevada, who is a Mormon. It’s not known whether his interest in UFOs came from religious belief or just personal idiossyncrasy. It’s not the only mystery about a Reid, who ended up with some very severe injuries from what he said was an accident on his treadmill.

FWIW, you’d expect that the Air Force or NOAA to be researching UFOs without it necessarily having anything to do with aliens . . .
