Surely the difference is that vannax is waging his war with words on a porn message board, not on the streets with explosives strapped to his body or a gun in his hand.

Also, the violence done by muslims to muslims is almost completely religion-based. The war in Syria and the greater regional conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran are both between Sunni and non-Sunni ideologies. They are also wars for regional and economic dominance but at heart they are between two opposing religious viewpoints.

As for the crusades and forced conversion, most of the forced conversions were made not by invaders but by their own leaders, usually in exchange for benefits gained by those leaders. But in any case, this was all hundreds of years ago. The Western world has grown up (to an extent) and moved on from those practises, whereas the Muslim world has not and never will because Islam is unchanging.

Christianity, in contrast, has proved to be malleable (in fact so malleable that you can argue it can't be the truth if its tenets are so changeable) in order to move with the times.

I should have added that to the list as #5, so I'll update the list:

We both know that Muslims are mainly of Middle Eastern, African, and souther Asian origin.

No one is denying that the Muslim world is plagued by violent thugs committing heinous acts under cover of religion. We are blessed in the U.S., Canada, and the UK to live in relative security and that our domestic surveillance forces prevent many attacks. Unfortunately, we do have our weekly mass shooting at a school, homophobic Muslim homosexuals shooting up gay nightclubs, and right wing loonies blowing up daycare centers in Oklahoma. But we are spared from most of the ongoing carnage in Latin America inflicted by drug gangs, the religious carnage in India, and the daily incidence of mass murder in the Muslim world and southern Russia.

I 'll continue to point out your hypocrisy and bias and you can continue to advertise your commitment to fringe lunacy.

0. Just because Muslims predominatly come from some parts of the world doesn't make them a race, despite the lefts attempts to convince folk otherwise. It is another lefty tactic to attempt to redefine words to suit their agenda, a la Newspeak. Very Orwellian indeed. If you are religious it's not rare, your common or garden religious bigots may subscribe to a faith that believes gays are less than human some like the more moronic Islamists believe they should be killed, others like Christian bigots believe they will burn forever in hell.
