Had a look in my collection but couldn't find any pictures of Nicky in full wig but...she wore a hairpiece during a outdoor photo shoot with Joanne Young (who put a full wig on at some stage).

Nicky also wore a (possibly same one) hairpiece during an indoor shoot with Marie.




On a slightly different topic (though relevant because of the rarity value) these are the only pictures I have where Nicky showed her pubic shadow. Normally most models would wear two pairs of undies but this time Nicky didn't and the lighting must have been strong enough to penetrate.

You're right about NT's hairpiece, which I do remember. This is obviously a fashion accessory, rather than a disguise, which is the reason some of the models wore wigs.

Assuming Mel Cooper to be of a similar period to Nicola, Marie and the other girls in the Ken Howard stable, it's a pity she didn't do any sets with other girls. I don't know of any. She would have paired with Nicola or Eve quite nicely I feel. Nick

How I overlooked this girl, when I compiled my top fifty, i'll never know,perhaps it's because this is the only set I've ever seen of her,she is absolutely gorgeous.To my mind she is up there with Marie , Nicola and co.( note the bullet bra).

For me, the period up until the introduction of the mini was such an elegant time for women's attire. Their underwear being no exception. Pants were usually large, white and lacy which I love and with stockings and suspensory gear underneath, just so exciting. Annette French defines this time so well and I love the confidence she exudes whilst raising her skirt to reveal all. Great legs and, please note the slight pubic shadow - a bit before Nicola's. Just so, so lovely. Nick.

The girl in the "Getting Involved" set is actually Toni Townsend I believe. Obviously the editor of S&S had a lapse of memory when he called her Wendy Blake. I love the first pic next to the narrative. Very saucy and was what got me hooked on Toni. She was also, "Becky Gold" in an earlier issue of S&S. Nick
