Apparently the worlds most boring lecture on record was a 3 hour citation on the inner dimensions of a golfball...

This thread brings back fond memories of a lass I ued to know. after we'd met up for a drink it seemed an idea to point out that the smallest house in Britain was in Wales. After she'd taken the piss out of me for coming up with such a useless fact she started texting me all sorts of 'did you knows' which turned into quite a marathon. Unfortunately other friends got wind of this and started texting too, though it was more along the lines of 'Did I know I was such a sad bastard' etc which culminated in severe psychological maladjustment...

Ah, them were the days....

Sorry ... Urban myth! As the original "quack" fades, the echo is overlaid, making the original "quack" sound longer than it actually is.

Of course, that only relates to an Avoirdupois "quack"! A Troy "quack" is quite different and has no sound at all!

It would be enormously entertaining to find out though! Just think of the hours of fun one could have in dissecting the differences between the dimensions of a slazenger and a zzzzz.....zzzzzzz......zzzzzz

Alliteration...No, that's at the first syllable. What's it called at the end?
edit: It turns out alliteration can go both ways - not that there's anything wrong with it.
