When I was 5 years old, Mom got very ill and had to pause her life in a hospital. Dad was off for business so she found me a family in the near of her where I could stay. There I played in the woods. Day and night. Just me and I never felt scared. Never. Today when I start to think what might be when I die I'm not feeling very comfortable. That could be another type of darkness. And even if darkness never managed to scare me, this new and unknown type most probably would.

Back in the late 70's I was staying in a house in the German part of the Ardennes, the Eiffel. It was a modern and only recently finished house.
The family I was staying with were family of my neighbours back in the UK. None of them spoke a word of English.
My neighbours who were there too, spoke English, but with an incredibly thick German accent, as they only ever spoke German at home, and he worked for a big German company in London, and spoke mostly German at work too.
My parents were also there in the house.

However, I spent a night listening to two American mens voices, taking very quietly in the hallway. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but that they were Americans that was unmistakable.
The area around there had been the site of some very serious and bitter fighting at the end of the Second World War.............

Nobody in that house that night could have been making those sounds...

I wasn't scared, just thoughtful. But I remember that night vividly.

Once, about thirty years back, I was asleep when I heard a loud creaking noise. Sitting up in bed I saw the floor was being pushed up from underneath. To this day I don't know what it could have been and no one in my family believes me....

I've seen crop circles.

Twice, on two separate occasions (about 15 years ago or so).

The first was when I was going on holiday with my family. We were driving along through the countryside when some pointed up to the steep hill to one side has we were passing, and up on the side of the hill, in a field of corn, was a large round crop circle.

The other time occurred just a few years later, and spookily not far from our house.
We lived in a house that was right on the outskirts of our town, where if you go one way down the road you'll heard into town and go the other way you'll head out into the countryside.
Anyway, there was a large cornfield literally a few minutes walk from our house, and one day during the summer we discovered a crop circle in that field.
We couldn't get near it because it was private land but when you stood on the hill opposite you could actually see it.

We even took a picture of it, which we still have somewhere.

This may one reason young kids see the world a lot different than adults do. They are much more open to reality than adults who have been conditioned to see the world through certain lens.

A lot of crop circles are hoax's. What tends to freak me out are all the images at Nasca. They can only be discerned from above but they are very large and detailed. How would primitive people be capable of such?
