I have a few Mexican buddies who have made traditional fare for me many, many times, and I assure you it is delicious. Especially freshly-made corn tortillas - ¡Ay, caramba!

Mexican food prepared properly and with fresh ingredients always equals happy days. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, guacolmole dip, salsa, tortilla chips, mexican beans and rice. Top it all off with a big fat Margarita........Ay Caramba is right!!

I bought a lobster today. She is alive in the fridge. As it's a girl I've named it Maxine. I also bought a sea bass and some Dublin bay prawns. I'm working on a recipe. Drs orders for BB to eat fresh healthy food. And I love sea food

any tips from our American friends welcome.

The UK processing plant for KFC chicken closed in the last year; apparently it's now processed in mainland europe even more cheaply, hence the closure. I'm assured that if you ever visited you'd never indulge again.
The 'chicken' was flown over from Brazil. We used to call it KFPigeon - never seen no chicken THAT small.

Secret pleasure ~1: 'English Bagel'
- take one sesame coated or plain bagel, insert slice of smoked ham (decent quality), one sliced hard boiled egg, salt and black pepper and then top with sliced good cheddar. Add ketchup/mustard to taste. Put in microwave for 70 seconds. Leave to stand for one minute or risk top of mouth becoming as one with molten cheese - your choice entirely.

Secret pleasure ~2: 'Poncey Fish Finger sandwich'
- take two slices thick white bread. Butter/spread to taste. Spread Mayo one one slice of bread and add generous sprinkling of Dill (stop sniggering, it's a herb as you know full well, you uncouth lot).
Add four cooked Young's or Bird's Eye Cod Fish Fingers in breadcrumbs - none of those grey, vile nasssty cheapo barely catfood quality varieties please.
The more daring of you may care for a dash of lemon juice at this point. I knoww I do. Cover with remaining slice of bread and get it down you, accompanied by mug of tea. YUM!

A friend of mine works as a manager for a meat factory over here in N. Ireland that supplies McDees. won't name the company just in case. But the 100% beef claim is BS. He tells me they strip everything of the bones and use all the crap of the day. So I wouldn't be surprised if it happens all over.
