Have you tried soaking it with a warm tea bag? (no stupid jokes please) I find this help with most eye irritations. Takes the itch and swelling away.

I've heard of that but no I haven't, I have been dabbing my eye with OPTREX but there is no itching or swelling that I can see. The pharmacist also said it can happen with hay fever but I am pretty sure I don't have that. I will keep you all posted.

A bomb was defused found under 'Spaghetti Junction' (Gravelly Hill Interchange) in the Midlands today which has the explosive capability of 900 hand grenades!
