What really confuses me about all of the CC videos available the web, is that they're of such poor quality. They look like they were captured from VHS copies (or worse), but surely they were all shot on film back in the day...?

Original DVD's ain't that bad, so the origin is of ok quality.
They did NOT shoot on 35mm, they shot films on 16mm.
I guess, even for quality-nerds like Theanders, 35mm was to costly.
16mm was good enough for 8mm loops.
But obviously enough, not even near the quality we demand today.
I've seen some stuff found on web and some of it is rip of a rip of a rip of a rip ...

Hi.

In my search for the holy CCC grail I found these safety boxes
in the deepest cellar of the Rodox building, on Strandlodsvej 61 ,before the building was demolished.

Are the holy CCC grail inside one of these boxes ?

Below you see the red elevator in the basement of the Rodox Color Teknik building.
Color Climax`own film laboratory. Here Jens Theander spend a lot of time making
the best possible film quality.

Here is a picture of the gray elevator in the Rodox building.
The elevator was used to transport film and magazines from the production in the basement to the upper floor.

And another picture of one of the safety boxes.

It's not an alias, I know this from a journalist that has interviewed him.

The only name I know is an alias is Rupert James
I do not know his real name.

Some parts of the documentary had hard-coded Danish subtitles which are not yet included in the .srt. Same goes for the parts with Danish text. I can provide those parts if there are translators and after translation incorporate them into the subtitles.

The .srt files can be opened and edited in a regular text editor such as NotePad and as you can see on the image the machine translation can use some improvement.

I re-uploaded the three part Candy Film documentary and subtitles on request, the subtitles are included with the documentaries but can also be downloaded separate. If someone improves the English subtitles then please share.
