I'm so tired of Zero-Thankers' requests

Coincidentally, I find myself thanking the same people. I have had only one request in the Milena Velba thread for a video and another member quickly posted it. Even though the video was not the full length, I still thanked that member for full fulling my request.

As I said I don't upload anything normally so it doesnt affect me, but I do know people that go to a lot of trouble and in some cases a lot of expense to fill requests on many boards I use. It must be highly annoying to fill the request and the original requester not at least say thanks. We all know that the number of thanks per post is usually crap compared to the amount of views or downloads but common courtesy on a friendly board should make someone click the thanks button.

I do not think it strange that the distinction between visits and thanks to a post is so high.
I do not consider myself a person who does not thank, but do not click on all posts that I visit, only when i that really find interesting for me, especially if it provide valuable information, or if I download the content.
That said, I agree with you that it is unacceptable that people who only request, they do not even appreciate the work of those who would solve their "problem".
It is very sad to see a walk in the subforum " Movie/Movie ID Request " and see what we mean.

on the thanks issue. i think a previous poster summed it up... often the actual post is of something that's already in the thread, only a page of two back on many occasions, or just a really bad quality image. on these occasions, though i will have visited the page, i wont thank. the poster.

i do however make sure to thank them if it either a new image i like, or a better quality image of one i already have, but also wanted in the better quality.

'no thankers' are annoying, but maybe they dont understand how much effort goes into searching and posting some images and videos as they dont bother to do the same themselves..???

To be honest thanks is an issue that bores me. I don't post for thanks. I post the smut and I take it. It is nice to see people tipping their hat. But we must share. That's it. If we don't share. No VEF.

I'm a serial Thanks clicker, & why the F not, It costs nothing & it's the only currency we have here. I will often click for a well presented or thought out post, I may even thank some of the meaner contributors, after all, somebodys got to show them the way.
That way it may become desirable for them to follow suit when they notice some rep at the bottom of their subscriptions What could be worse than feeling a bit of an outsider.

Anyway before i get chastised for getting off topic, It does annoy me to see "Do you have you anymore?" or "Have you got the Video that goes with it?"

thanks given:thanks received is some sort of kudos. Some seem to think it is only there for when a valuable download is attained, but why not treat it as a nod? We have one of the friendliest forums here, we all came here looking for that certain model or picture and it seems that the Thanks button takes on a new value after you begin to contribute the the forums content. Share the VEF love
