I'd say, since i saw the mini series before I read the book, the association was already made in my head. Sort of like Clark Gable will always be Rhett Butler.
It's been so long since I read the book, I cant say which is more accurate.
It's like not picturing Robert Conrad as Pasquinel when you say Centennial.

I liked Shogun episode 7 as it deviated from the book and the first TV series, so I hope for more surprises in the next/last three episodes.

X-Men 97 was a Jubilee episode. Could have been terrible, but managed to be entertaining.

They break down much longer comic book plots into single episodes, often with random villains turning up out of nowhere. It works pretty well.

PARISH

Giancarlo Esposito is turning in another great performance as a driver haunted by loss and finds himself painted into a corner financially so he accepts the role as a driver for a local gangster.
I almost didnt recognize Skeet Ulrich and it's great to see Paula Malcomson in a series again.Even though it's a bit cliched it's going to be interesting to watch just how much trouble Parish gets into

Constellation

After an accident occurs on board the International Space Station Johanna "Jo" Ericsson makes a risky journey back to Earth and she either is experiencing some type of space dementia or she really is experiencing something else.
Noomi Rapace always turns in a believable performance and Jonathan Banks is always great. Though im not fully engaged i want to see how things play out in the next episodes.

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. Episode, "Hidden in Plain Sight." As Amanda Bynes' career is taking off, she isn't getting along with her parents and wants to be legally emancipated.

What it's like working on Dan Schneider's Nickelodeon shows. Child actors were told to work longer hours, which violates child labor laws. Schneider demanding female staffers give him a massage, which is clearly not their job description.

As much as I've enjoyed the return of the X-Men animated series, I've enjoyed Invincible more.
