Not at all mate, if you look at a pic of Arthur and one of Ted you will see they are almost identical, a bit like twins. I was a big fan of both.

Pistachio nuts can be explosive if stored for too long and aren't allowed to be stacked on top of each other when being transported incase they spontaneously combust.

Did you know that Brazil nuts contain a very high amount of Selenium? Selenium is a necessary and essential mineral for the human body but too much of it is toxic. Just a couple of Brazil nuts will provide you with your Recommended Daily Amount of Selenium so you shouldn't eat more than one or two Brazil nuts per day or you could feel ill.

In 1913 both Hitler and Stalin were living in Vienna, when Hitler was a starving artist dossing in homeless shelters and Stalin was a revolutionary in exile. Both would take a daily walk in the same park, and it is probable, indeed highly likely, that they walked past each other as young men.

Talk about ironic. John Lassiter of PIXAR fame used to work as an animator for the Walt Disney studios, then he got fed up and left and started up PIXAR as a direct competition for Disney, producing computer-animated films, but then later PIXAR was sold to Disney who then made him head of animation and they produced Toy Story, Cars etc. So he ended up going back to work for the very company he left. He is of course now laughing all the way to the bank. He was also made the very first member of Rolf Harris's Cartoon Club (ITV), but probably less said about him the better these days.

Everyone thought the saxophone player on Gerry Rafferty's hit Baker Street was that of Blockbuster quiz master Bob Holness. Unfortunately it was a false rumour that fooled quite a few.

It was a story created by DJ/music writer Stuart Maconie, who used to make up bizarre music "facts" for a joke column in the NME. For some reason that one proliferated, and Maconie has said that he has had it repeated back to him as a 'true fact' many times.

(although interesting fact about Bob Holness - I believe has was one of the first people to play James Bond. He played the character in a BBC radio broadcast before the first Connery movie).

Bob Holness did indeed voice James Bond in South Africa, and the first televised one was an American called Barry Nelson who called him 'Jimmy Bond' which would reappear in the dire 60s film 'Casino Royale' played by Woody Allen.

This is interesting. Whilst watching Britain's Favourite Superhero last night(recorded on 4/7 channel) it featured Stan Lee, the creator of hundreds of Marvel Comics superheroes and he was asked how Spider-Man came into existence. It turns out that Lee was sitting at home one day and noticed a fly on the wall - he got to thinking what it would be like to be able to climb up walls and went through every insect name before he got to Spider Man which to him sounded more dramatic than say Mosquitoman. Incidentally the favourite superhero of this country was...BATMAN (in all it's guises past and present)
