British police have their change their old traditions and arm themselves like police in the U.S. The average policeman in any American city or even a small town is equipped with a pistol, a taser, a baton and in the squad car a pump action shotgun. Europe on the whole is still much safer than an average American city, but with this on going increasing Muslim violence IMHO policemen in the UK and in other countries have to give up the old ways and start arming themselves.
Perhaps there is so much violence in the UK because the criminals see the police un-armed and feel they can do whatever they want! |

As civilised as holding a delivery drivers family hostage and then ordering him to drive a vehicle with a large bomb to an Army checkpoint. Or maybe the bomb that was fixed under a policemans car on Saturday night so that when he drove his daughter to church on Sunday morning he would be killed. There used to be a photo of the wreckage in the MUF range at Lydd. A beautiful blond six year old untouched from the waist up but with nothing left below. 38years later that photo still haunts me.
Terrorists are terrorists. Civilised in any form they are not. |

Germany Withdraws Their Soldiers From Incirlik
Fight against ISIS:
The negotiations between Turkey and Germany failed. In small words: Reason was, that German MP's wasn't allowed to visit the soldiers in Incirlik (Germany is having a parliamentarian force). It persist of a battery of "Patriots" and a little fleet of specialized scouting "Tornados" and some refuelling-aircrafts. The soldiers of the AWACs will follow. It's said that they should use a base in Jordan. I personal have no clue why they don't use the NATO - Base on Cyprus. .

Yes, Mrs. May was bleating on about "enough is enough", but she was the one who helped to instigate Shira courts in the UK and went on to praise Shira courts as "helpful to many".

Enough of what? Who exactly has been making security/intelligence policy for the last 7 years? Enough of Police cuts? Or hiding the official report about Saudi funding of extremist groups in the UK so not to offend them? |

I presume 'enough is enough', is a way to help the govt. get more control over the internet, as they pretend it's the fault of the inetrnet for allowing radical islamists to post videos and thus encourage the 'radicalisation' of innocent islamic youth into becoming muderers.
Actually, it is radical islamic clerics, not only wahabi ones either, who go to schools and mosques and teach that islam and allah expects them to go out and kill. They ain't being 'suddenly turned radical' by seeing a few videos on the internet, they are being educated from a young age by their imams to do this stuff. I also don't remember the IRA having much trouble organising their shit when there was no internet...

The extra access the Government wants to the internet is the ability to read the E Mails and other communications of SUSPECTS and PEOPLE OF INTEREST!
They want free access to the accounts of people bought to the attention of the \Security Services, the ability for GCHQ to monitor the accounts of people who have already reached the attention of authority, and the ability to monitor those accessing sites which are known to be pro IS, and supportive of Islamic Terrorism. This of course has been reported as a snoopers charter and an attempt to track everyone's email and Internet activity, yes there is a chance that unscrupulous operators might do that, but it will cost them their jobs. There is too one type of porn site they want to track. Those that deal with Child abuse. To me both those things would be right. But it has been interpreted as an invasion of every-bodies Internet activity, the truth? They are too busy with other stuff to worry about people watching normal porn. I do not have any problem with that. I expect many do! |
