I hope not, the Police were quick on the scene and within 8 minutes these twats were wormfood. I really don't want to see more guns in circulation here as they are alien to our way of life, yes more armed officers without a doubt but not every one.

Unfortunately though for the UK the terror attacks are now becoming part of your way of life. If armed police had been on sight it is possible that the scum would have been killed when they got out of the van. I realize that there was no real way to predict the van.

Getting disemboweled by Mohammedan madmen is even more "alien to our way of life" than policemen with guns - I reckon all the police need to be armed in our big cities at the moment.

Big cities Any city IMO, never know what terrorists will do next, no reason they won't attack in a big town, just thinking of my hometown which is a small city of around 200,000, the same amount of carnage can be done in a place like that and it's nowhere near a big city.

I don't know if anyone remembers just before Xmas 2015 there was a siege in Sydney at a cafe, The coroners report was issued just this past week and some blame was laid on the authorities. Wouldn't happen if I ran things, I'd make sure there was some kind of powers given to authorities with a do what you need without fear of prosecution later on.

No one can predict where a madman in a van lorry or car will strike, but technology exists to prevent multiple impacts. It is the same as that used to deploy airbags. Should a vehicle detect an impact it could cut out and the brakes could be applied. Several people could still be killed or hurt, but the carnage could be limited at least.

So it is !!!

It's impossible to protect so called "Soft Targets" (humans!!!) at every corner, at every street, in every subway, in every bus.
Else it would need several thousand armed policeman for every town, which a state cannot effort as your logic may say.

So sad it may be, it's an additional part of your personal risk to everyone.

OK, the risk of to be overrun by a bus or to die because of an infection in a hospital is more than 10.000 times higher than to die because of a terror attack in Germany. I suppose, the numbers are more or less the same in other European countries.

(I don't mean it sarcastic, also when it sounds so).
