I don't know why you are so surprised. Every wheat beer whether light or dark has a subtle taste of bananas. If you want to try what I think is the best one of all and you will clealy taste bananas with every drink try this one from Germany: Paulaner. As I get older and older I realize that the greatest thing that life has to offer is not sex, but eating and drinking. Things like pizza, donuts, tuna subs, baked whitefish, broccoli, desserts, beer and restaurant food. And when I say beer, I don't mean the swill that America has to offer, but good imported English ale or a German doppelbock or a natural wheat beer ( Hefe-Weizen).Yuuuuuuuuum

Today's drink is from Czechoslovakia: Pivovar Herold Granat Lager a dark amber colored pale lager with an alcohol content of 4.7%. Tastes of lemon and malt sweetness. Smooth feel in mouth. Just good overall.
