tho I'm certain they'll invest it well

Keep it under your hat just now it's a bit of a computer industry rip-off

you can use any common household cassette player, even a fancy nu iWalkman (man) It's only coz they want to ship units man ~ all ya need is the leads and the levels right (about ¾ Volume) then it works almost ½ the time - same as the real thing
Pass it on the more people know about it, the man can't rip us all off

Surely then this will be the only Mass Storage/Format con that we will ever face

are they turning their backs on home users ? Two drives is ridiculous , even business users rarely need more than a few dozen kb for their spreadsheets
I suppose it's all about speed, I hear those drives can retrieve a full 64K in less than a minute.
although nobody knows what'll happen then as no-one has had access to such an amount of information yet : perhaps we'll all suffocate at greater than 20MPH too?
