Joan Russell...a full-breasted Scottish model not unlike Jane Paul, but she wasn't afraid to show off her bosom in full.

Well done Manowar for a splendid pictorial essay of Joan. She had 18 appearances altogether in the Toco mags, from as far back as Spick No.15, upto Spick n' Span Extra No.32.

Have any "S & Span" fans got any interesting anedots or afew stories about the Models ?I recall Eve Eden but thats the only one..she made a Strip-Tease PostCard set which I used to have , bought it in a Soho Book-Shop for £4 which was a lot of money the (1970).

I hope I am not intruding but in reference to the humble premises, I have noticed just how heroically Maggie McCully deals with the rather less than salubrious interior used for her modelling sessions.

Here she is smiling brightly on what is (trust me; I have zoomed in to erase blemishes) a pretty grotty carpet and old linoleum (not then, younger viewers, vinyl). She doesn't let it affect her mood in the slightest. A real professional and hard working lass.

I am ploughing on with the task of cleaning up and brightening up this set and hopefully, in time others. When complete I will post them on VEF as a zip. More at that time. Thanks to all those who are working to make this a most fascinating thread.
