The original plan was for Sylvia Trench to be Bond's regular girlfriend but for him to always be called away from their dates to go on his cases. Originally Lois Maxwell was offered the choice of either Sylvia or Moneypenny but opted for Moneypenny, partly because she didn't want to do the scene in Dr No where Sylvia is just wearing Bond's shirt and partly because she knew Moneypenny had the potential to be a longer-lasting character.

Actually here it is 26th October, in the US it is 7th November release date I believe. I am hoping that Craig can be persuaded to do ONE more Bond, but if he does leave I wonder if the rumours might be true and we finally get a BLACK James Bond-no reason why not as far as I can see.
