some years ago I've made some settings via vbulletin admin tools to achieve this. you're right that the software doesn't give the option to directly access the "thanks" value, but you can access the reputation points value which is build on the thanks value. I've designed a separate usergroup based on this value and blocked this group from starting new threads in MIR and its subforums.

in most cases the settings work properly, problematic are those who create their very first post inside this section as new request thread. for whatever reason the software doesn't regard them. i've tried several tweaks, but it seems it's a buggy feature you can't prevent.

so we have to live with those euphoric, no-rules reading, thread starting noobs. only they need a manual treatment. section mods would be very busy if they have to treat all membery below the line, trying to request no matter what the rule of the game says.

I have not seen a place to request picture sets. There are some cases where I have only a couple pictures (maybe lost the others) and the set is not posted in the model area - I usually upload my one or few pictures to the thread. But, is there a place to actually send out a request for pictures ?

this forum doesn't offer a specific section to request image sets. you can try your luck in "other requests" (subforum of vintage erotica talk) - but that subforum isn't reviewed much and chances are pretty low that someone shows up who has what you're looking for.

better way is:

unknown model - start a standard ID request and see what you get. may PM those who can help out with a name - eventually they can help out with more material as well.

known model, existing thread - post what you can add as new content to the model thread and with your post ask if there's more. if all you have was already posted, may send a friendly PM to an active member of that thread. posting new stuff and in same post asking for completion of a shooting is allowed in all sections. just don't make it a habit by - for example - making 20 such posts in different threads on same day. do it more "quiet"

known model, no thread - start the thread with your pics and all model information you have (also include valid sources like egafd/iafd/boobpedia etc to proof the ID)

Good question; looks like this one has fallen through a crack in the Moderation network. Thanks for bringing it forward.

We have called a lot of MIR's "solved" based on a single name in a publisher's model index. Maybe "Ruby" is the best we can hope for in this instance.

That would have been my fault wouldn't do any harm to leave the request thread where it is I suppose but, as you say, we have solved with less in the past and maybe moving it to another section as a new model thread would get it seen by more members and then more information might be found.

It appears to have been acepted in the Sean Michaels thread and there is an old I.D with a pic from the same set in the ID Sheets : Rdx ID sheets thread in the ID Projects, ID Sheets & ID CSVs forum although there is no evidence to back it up.

Thank you for providing proof statements to support the suggested ID.

The request has now been marked as "solved" with credit awarded to gerry99.

On days ( such as today) when we have more than a dozen "solved" requests to adjudicate, there is often insufficient time for Mods to seek out proof sources to support a given name. We usually move on to the next request, and wait for someone to provide the proof source.

Unfortunately, such posts occasionally fall through the cracks, and we really appreciate it when a reminder is given.
