Imagebam is a VEF-independent hoster. Troubles there at the time when VEF has troubles is pure co-incidence.

Historically, Pimpandhost has indeed some sort of VEF-origin. Independent as well (usable for everybody outside VEF), the fact that PH is embedded as a PlugIn in the VBulletin Forum-Software may cause interfering problems to a certain extent.

These imagehost problems are not related to VEF tho it's effecting browsing times here. With the recent VEF problems it's understandable to link the two together however it's purely coincidental as these hosts are acting the same way on several forum sites I visit adult or not.

High server loads are probably the cause as I find off peak hours has imagebam performing at a lot quicker in load times than in peak hours.

PimpAndHost is another matter as I've always found them wonky and dealing with these types of issues thru the years.

Had massive lags when using Imagebam during the last hours. Better performance at the moment. Maybe there was just some maintenance work on their servers?

Is that ongly me or ImageBam suicks today. I upload one lousy Set with 20 k/sec.. That is unusual. Nornal i had nearly 100 k/sec. My question Have you (I have start a DSL Speedtest all is fine) the same speed or problem ?

I havent been able to connect. I dont think its the main site....pingplotter goes right there....I think its the individual servers.

No issues for me ever or now, I use an old link Hos gave me and bookmarked long ago.

I'm having problems to download at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that it is only a temporary glitch. ImageBam proved to be the most reliable image host on the 'net for the past few years.

I am haveing no problems either, uploading, or downloading. I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with Imagebam. I wish it was the default site instead of P&H.

The only thing that has ever really happened is when one picture from a series is reported as 'banned' by the host, then I use Imagevenue instead. And that happens only rarely.

I find Imagebam excellent!
