More like a groupie...

I have always been a great fan of Peter Falk. From his gangster movies to war movies he's was tops on my list.

When the Columbo series started, it was one of those movie location circus that would visit local areas in the LA area.

Los Angles is the mecca for filming shots from NCIS, to Columbo, to many many movies and TV locations....

The interesting things I have watched so many Columbo's, I have basically memorized the locations to the series and make up a game to find them today. Yea they have changed but it's cool to visit the set locations.

I even had an office where a scene was shot in the Episode 44 – The Conspirators. In one scene Columbo rolls up in his famous car and runs to a telescope to see the flag of a tugboat. This was filmed at a dock area in the now defunk Catalina Terminal building. But before they demo that building...
to make space they built an office shack on that spot, and that was my office. today it's a pier again for super sized container vessels.

Funny thing folks would come by to check out that location. I had a telescope in the approx spot to allow folks to glance out to the water where Columbo did.

So am I a Fan, hell yes.
