My confusion over cross posting...

Hi folks.

Question for the classic movies section folk but happy for any help at all.

Is Cross Linking ok in the Classic Movies section?

Example:
Member posts a movie in a new thread in the Classic Movies section.

This movie is part of a series of DVDs and a mega thread exists for it already in Classic Movies.

Is it ok to post a link to the new thread from within the mega thread? i.e. cross linking within a section

I've checked the rules but may have missed something here.

If it's more appropriate, we could move the DVD to the thread.

Thanks for the suggestion. Probably is right way to go but it still confuses me. Is Cross Linking when relevant ok? Ultimately trying to point people in the right direction for relevant material.

Crosslinking in the section within an existing post is allowed.
