I have been trying to post a new thread but it says i dont have permission, and a reply that I posted has been sent to the moderator bin.

If your post was binned then yes. Read the rules again. I'm a vet and I reread them regularly.

I see that you are able to post this thread, so all should be okay to post, however if you get that "you don't have permission to ...", just make a print screen of that message and also a print screen from the following (°) and send a PM (private message) to an administrator so that he/she can see what's wrong.

As for a post in the bin of a moderator: see the advice from billyhunter.
If you're still clueless, send a PM to a moderator from the sub-forum where your post disappeared.

Perhaps you were trying to post to the Model ID section, where you do not yet have the required permissions. You must be a contributing member to post an ID request & have a minimum of 150 Thanks received.

see this thread for further info.. http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t134543-model-id-requests-only-allowed-for-contributing-members.html

madiganfan,

I recently had a reply to a thread ('who do you wish had gone one step further' or something) delated. I was confused about why. earlier today I managed to find the thread again and I realised why my post had been deleted: The actresses and films I mentioned were after 1995, but the date for the thread in that forum was up to 1995, which I hadn't noticed.

Sometimes it can be that simple. So if you can remember the thread title and know in which part of the forum the thead is, then maybe you can work out if your reply was within the thread parameters.

Looking at the post in question, my guess for why it was deleted is because you made a request. If that was posted in a content only thread rather than a request thread there is the reason for your posts deletion.

As stated earlier, if you are posting in this thread and the test thread you should have no problems. That is, unless what NIN mentioned about the Model ID Thread is true. If so, your mystery is solved.

Default Unable to up-load image.

Since I purchased this new PC I have been unable to up-load an image from my PC. I never used to have any problems in the past so I can not understand what has changed.
If I try to up-load all that appears is a black square with a black cross followed by N/A.
The new PC operates with Windows 7.
Can anyone offer any help?

Weird, it shouldn't make any difference what computer or operating system you use

Just out of interest, What Image host are you uploading to?
