I have often wondered if S&S had been published in colour it might have prolonged the life of the mag? I realise there were many factors as to why it never happened, the expense being primary, I suspect. Would it have improved the mag's appeal or not? We'll never know. This is my favourite set of Nicola and Marie from 1974 and I often imagine how the girls would have looked in colour, alfresco. Nick

For many of the ToCo models featured in the magazines, the pictures represent only a fraction of those that were taken during photoshoots. A lot of the pictures that appear now on this site have come from the photosets that ToCo sold by mail....quite a few of which I have scanned and posted myself. I expect, and hope, there are many others waiting to be scanned and posted....Nostagia Publications have been doing an excellent job of this and releasing them, including spoiled shots, on cd or dvd.
Unfortunately they have never, to my knowledge, released any of buxom Scots model Jane Paul.

The mags did go to a bigger format for about nine months, presumably in search of new readers. Can't have worked as they then revert to the customary pocket-book size for the rest of the run.

(Can I put out another appeal for any models who appeared in the mags to come onto this thread? It'd be great to get their stories! Anybody know any of them?)
