no one ever mentioned a word. so i just assumed it was normal to bring
wheel barrells of the stuff into the house every week, and hide it everywhere.
at least i honored the privacy rule.

Absolutely not! She would always scour my room making sure I had nothing that I wasn't supposed to be looking at. She would also get into fits even when I had those mildly suggestive celebrity posters on my bedroom wall, not unlike those Pro Arts ones (the company most famous for the iconic Farrah™ poster).

As with the mags, she was worried or thought it would get to my head. But I was already a teenager and this was the typical rite-of-passage, which she probably didn't understand. I also always had the sense she was worried her "reputation" would be ruined when guests came over and got a tour of the house.

My mum was very relaxed about porn, she even liked to flick through any mags I got hold of. Watching porn vids wasn't a problem either, she'd watch them too, found them quite amusing!

I sort of disceetly hid Magazines in my wardrobe.Im sure my mum new they were there but she must of decided to turn a blind eye.

My mum didn't exactly let me look at porn, but she knew I had some, and was surprisingly cool about it. She found a couple of mags I'd carelessly left badly hidden in my bedroom, and I expected to catch hell- instead she just told me to be more careful about where I left them and warned me I'd be in trouble if my younger brother saw them.

Yes we'd watch them together, my brother used to get them from a bloke at work and as I didn't have a VCR I'd watch them at my mum's house.
I suppose to women from that generation it was quite titillating!

There's a similar thread "did your mum find your stash/porn" My parents didn't say at any point "hey son, go and look at your girlie mags" My mum knew I had a wee stash hidden below a drawer which I enjoyed on my own when the wee head was in charge of the big head

The only thing she told me was don't leave them lying around, i.e keep them hidden. When your mum comes into your edroom to tidy etc she doesn't want to to see some bird in a mag with her pussy spread does she? No.
