Meanwhile in Fresno California life goes on. Two black gang members with extensive violent criminal records decided to drive 118 miles to rob an Asian home. Their pistol was met by an AR15. Unfortunately, the 69 year old father was killed shortly after warning his family that the robbers were in the house. The son killed both robbers while taking a bullet in the shoulder.

I guess it was too tough to hit the homes closer to home they had to go that far to work? Something's fishy that is a little far to be going just to be robbing folks, especially when you have a perfectly good Bay Area to work 40-50 miles closer. Maybe I am wrong, but I would love to hear what practitioners in the home invasion field would think about this.

Didn't make much sense to me, so I guess it was getting too hot for them in Stockton and on the drive to another city they decided to get some spending cash.

Well it hasn't taken long for the press to start attacking the security services! 'The security services knew about these three.' 'Why was nothing done?' and so on.

Well dear folk of the press, you have been bleating on for years about police harassment of ethnic minorities, you have been bleating on about invasion of privacy, you have been bleating on about heavy handed tactics,(try a visit to the US on that), and you are constantly bleating about Civil and Human Rights. Even now elements of the press are trying to do down the Army over Northern Ireland! There are serious limits to what the Security Services can do, all related to the above, if they get it wrong, and pursue the wrong person, you will attack like a pack of rats, if they do not investigate to your standards, out come the rats. So instead of bleating and publishing shit about celebrities, start dealing with the real world.

As for the rest, praise the incredible success and report the errors, but please do it sensibly. It has nothing to do with money or resources, but everything to do with the limits placed on them by political correctness.

Regarding that shooting in Fresno. The 69 year old man who died was a Hmong. A mountain person who was in his 20's when his tribes were fighting as allies of the Green Berets in Vietnam. It is likely that he fought in that war and saw much bloodshed. The two gang bangers were probably use to robbing old Chinese people in Stockton and other nearby towns - who in all probability had no combat experience and no means of self-defense. So when the two thugs saw an old Asian man walking back into his house, they pulled over for an easy score. Instead they ran into an old vet who screamed for his family to arm themselves and one son came out fighting.

Too bad the old man had to die in a robbery after surviving all the dangers of the Vietnam War.

You are so right - but just one thing I would say.

People go on about Muslims not reporting these people. What this illustrates is that they do! - but often not much is, or can be, done.
