Then again, it may have been depression itself...which may or may not have an external cause. This is why I cringe when I see people call suicide victims "cowards" or whatever. When someone commits suicide or attempts it, they are quite literally out of their minds. They're not thinking rationally nor logically...so trying to put a logical or rational reason behind it is almost impossible.

But I'm wondering if the type of person that gets into porn in the US isn't already pre-disposed to suffer from depression or other mental illness. Are suicide rates as big in the industry in Europe..where there's not as big a stigma?

Getting back on topic, I never found Peter North boring. Maybe we're just sick to death of seeing him on screen that we're "bored with him".

Completely agree. I've never seen Peter abuse women, and he's still one of the best and most professional performers around

Admittedly, he looks foolish when he eats a woman because he pulls a face like a chipmunk, but if that's the worst that can be said of him he's doing well for someone in that business

I think he's preferable to any of the modern-day knuckledraggers (and most of the vintage performers, for that matter)
