That parole board did a bad job today, they never questioned him on his contradictions vs his statements, and Simpson was too lazy to prepare, he just seemed to wing it, and go with his record where he was a model prisoner.

And sure, it was a joke he went to prison vs everyone else in his group. A few of these guys were on television today. (the ones who had guns and they were not happy either)

He promised in 2013 he would attend AA meetings, but the reason he did not do it was because he was too busy.......IN PRISON?

Was being baseball commissioner that tough a job?

I wonder what the Goldman's are going to do? Fred never misses one documentary to rip the killer, and their strategy worked, money led him to that Vegas hotel room which got hm jailed, and both were on television today, and will be tomorrow.

Tanya Brown was on television today and said she was struggling with anxiety during all this.

Reasonable people can have different opinions. Two unsuspecting people surprised by a knife wielding larger man, not a surprising end result.

Those are not reasonable doubts.

He did it alone, and was never shy about showing up in a rage to beat his wife, who pushed his buttons like no one else and if she was hooking up with Marcus Allen and others his ego could never live any humiliation much less that. Plus his wife and family did not allow him at their dinner after the kids recital and he was home and in a bad mood which Kato happy meal trip did not cure.

OJ Made in America was one of the best documentaries seen in a long time.

Some people on the jury were racist, Carrie Bess flat out said she was.
That verdict was payback, and yes Fuhrman, gloves/Darden, Vannatter, would create some reasonable doubt if you did not want to see through the smokescreen.

Knowing the area and the people in that area during that time no way someone aces two people and no one hears or sees a anything. Yeah he is big but would be quick enough to subdue both without any commotion so nobody notices until the next Morning? I still do not find that believable. I am not saying he did not do it, just no way he did it by himself.

Sounds like you trust the evidence, knowing the police that worked that particular case I can't share in that confidenve.

The jury did not trust the cops from the outset and that goes white or black. Johnny understood this as he was once a cop himself and this is why his picked the jury he did and why his game plan was so effective. He understood that they been through two major riots in about 30 years over police brutality, including the one 2 years earlier. Just about any accusation about police misconduct was bound to be believed

Your statement shows your age , you didn't see the slow chase live or the trial or you would know what really was going on then , there are a lot of nuances that the history books don't really tell you as you had to live it

Absolutely trusted the evidence. DNA proved it was him well beyond reasonable, the gloves were extremely rare, the shoes he lied about were very rare and images were discovered during the civil trial of him wearing them. The cops did not plant those shoes on his feet in Buffalo at a football game.

His blood was found before he got back from Chicago, it was not like the police had a blood sample before that to plant and seriously given how none of these cops were never shy about calling each other out how come they never really did besides blaming Fuhrman.

No cop planted him in his friends car, with a gun, fake beard, and a passport with money, and he was given special treatment which led to that infamous chase.

I think the cops followed procedure and were sloppy, even if it made Vannatter and others look incompetent at trial or raises doubts based on nuances. Crime scenes get contaminated, bodies had to be covered and removed, nothing is perfect, and experts at raising doubt are paid to do their job.

Believed every word Fuhrman said in O.J Made in America, he was a detective who had a black captain, was highly regarded and turned around his racial problems from his youth, who got married, had kids, friends and finally happiness in his life, who got scared, and was boxed in. He should have been honest on the stand as Lange said because he had nothing to lose.

Tom Lange is an honest cop, not a fan of his stance on Rodney King cops.

It was jury payback by the African American community for how they were treated and given things that happened how can you blame that jury after a white jury in a white community let the Rodney King cops off.

Cochrane played the race card perfectly, he was the right guy at the right time with the right police background to create doubt, and Ito was a weak judge.

The civil trial for me and the accounts of how bad Simpson performed then were on par with some of what you saw yesterday, he was getting angry, he was so furious with Petrocelli people said they could see the rage when he was getting grilled.

Again, October is a long time for a guy who needs to keep his mouth shut. He dragged out his hearing for 90 minutes, and was combative when all he had to do was say he was sorry, and he flat out lied vs what was on Riccio's tapes yesterday, he knew there were guns, he wanted those guys carrying going into the room.

I'm not sure someone's age plays into it, people see historical events going back decades and can get a good read of the dynamics in play in that era which fueled what happened.

And yesterday was a different era, it was a big story but in the era of 24/7 Trump reality presidency for ratings and ad money + twitter it did not own the day like it would have long ago.

The 2008 cast of character's all showed up yesterday selling their books, a big part of this has always been about people making money, when the market dries up with the appearance fees the story fades.

You put 2008 in context, the guy who put the gun in someone's face got parole and the master mind got 33 years, it's tough for people to separate 1994 from 2008 but they are completely different events.

ABC this morning had some new stuff.
Both Goldman's were on, were disappointed, Fred claimed he beat up both his wives, and they said if he does anything to make money they will enforce civil trial judgement, pointed out his conduct at hearing.

He was moved inside prison to protective custody after his parole was approved to keep him safe.
