We just spent a week with my wife's Norwegian family. Several of whom live in this town where in winter, it's not only cold as cold can get, but because of it's location in a mountain valley it gets no direct sunlight for six months of the year...except for the town square which is lit by sun mirrors placed on the mountainside.
That place was featured on the ABC news here yesterday:

I assume it's the same town.

Yeah it is. Two of my wife's cousins live there and work as hiking and mountain climbing guides. Happily we were only there for two days, it was really cold, like -6'C at midday.

I still remember when I was in North Africa about 20 years ago. It was in October and during the day the temperature was about 34C. It was horrible.
I shared some words at a desk with a woman who runned a small business and I told her: "Far too warm here."
She replied: "We often get more than 48C during the summer."

They could offer me 10 millions $ to live there, I'd not.

A good vest, good shoes and I can support -15C (even -20C if not windy) without any trouble.

But more than nude, it's impossible to live. I don't like hot weather.
That's why I don't see global warming with good eyes.

Will never happen. Quokkas are protected now and they will be on Rottnest Island forever. Estreeter, you may not like them, but before you pass on you and the wife have to go to Rottnest Island to get a selfie with a quokka. It will be the last most important thing to do in life.
