But then as it was set in 1920`s England i guess they felt it should be so annoyingly authentic ... Still when it came to Evie all you needed was those eyes , that face and her incredible smile ... BBC bosses unexpectedly canceled it at the end of series three which supposedly left many cliff hangers forever unanswered ... Not that those bothered me as i didn't know what the hell was going on from one episode to the next ...
